Hey All Just after some advice on with cam Is best for a worked 2l pinto motor as the lob or something like that has went and is making a really bad ticking noise, it is a RC race build witch i brought not along ago and did the cam in it and dunno witch cam i should go with would love some help

A great cam for a 2ltr pinto , is A"crow 661", use with extractors,exhaust, free flowing air filter,and dyno tune and a rejetting of the stock weber for good results.
nice lumpy idle as well.

what carburation are you using? Does it have a lot of head work, ie porting, big valves? Compression ratio? what are you planning to do with the car? All of these factors & more need to be considered when choosing a new camshaft there are so many cams available for the pinto from the UK & even here its nearly a loaded question with out more information |

Cheer's mate, are they idel for really worked as the motor has had alot of bottem end work running sidedrafts,msd ignition multiple spark discharge and hopefullying running a small supercharger soon, i like the sound of a crow 661 for the lumpy sounding, SO pretty much been built top to bottem cheers

when you replace the cam, also replace the oil spray bar at the same time. I always found it to be cheap insurance to increase the life of the cam as it is a pain in the butt to replace.
