Default would it sound any good?

would it sound any good if i got the last muffler removed from my stock exhaust on the ED?,

i dont really want to spend money on a sports exhaust system as i cant move it to the ea when i get it registered

was just wondering if it would make any difference if i got the muffler removed and just got got a straight pipe in?

Yes it makes a difference

My old Extaxi EA had a hotdog instead of a rear muffler. Sounded like XW people said :P

before i got my twin system i had that muffler (resonator) removed from the stock exhaust, took away much of the "vacuum cleaner stock" sound and gave it a bit of note.

for 50 bucks it was a good mod

I got my lukey cat back 2.5" on my EL for $200

Its better to do that than spend $50 on just the tail piece...

u dont need to get someone to do it, just pick up the tailpipe and do it yourself.
Jack the car up and get the angle grinder onto it, as long as u have a mate thatl weld it on for you or u can weld yourself its easy as pie

I second that. Just switching to a straight pipe will make it a bit louder, but won't improve your performance. Save a bit more and get a cat back.

Go and buy the over the diff section from an exhaust place. Dirt cheep and will remove that pesky muffler.

yeah when I got my zorts done I just said 2.5 catback minus the rear muffler..I think I got ripped at bit, $300 from bros exhaust in geelong. But ive had heaps of people (even in GT owners) compliment the note, usually whenIm filling up.

Even the old man who hates 6's thinks its good.

but the neighbour doesn't...lol
