G'day,
I have an LV zetec about 6 months old...the stereo controls on the steering wheel have started playing up - press volume up or down and it just keeps going all the way or press mode to switch stations and it does a band change instead. Even though only pressing the buttons momentarily, it's treating it as if you are holding them down, but on all 3 buttons?? the other funny thing is that is only happens after you've been driving for a few minutes, turn the engine off and the controls work fine - this tells me it's not a mechanical fault with the buttons but probably electronic?? any ideas? |

Check with ford and see if there's an upgrade to the firmware on the headunit. That could be causing the problem.
