Been looking into this for a while. Asked a ford dealer and they wanted 30 or so for the cap/cover. I personally think that money could be better spent elsewhere in the car.

If anyone else has any good, low cost solutions, let's hear 'em.

If you really don't like the look i guess you could always convince yourself that a new bodykit is the only solution.

What model car do you have? If its got a rebel kit, or a T series kit it would have been cut. If its just a standard bumper, go buy the cover from ford or a wrecker.

A little off topic, but does anyone know of any wreckers in the south east that have au's?

Keep a lookout around steep gutters etc and you might find someone else's

I have a few times!!

I put a few zip ties from the cover to the bumper, up underneath the bumper so you cant see them, even a large puddle can pop them out if they are not held in

Default Towbar cutout cover

Waggaclint's clue is the best of the bunch. Ford no longer offer them and wreckers don't have them. Mine was light fingered on an overnight stop at Gundagai last november (if you're reading this - you're forgiven as your need was obviously greater than mine) and I don't want to perpetuate the crime by stealing someone elses so I shall heed Clint's advice. Thanks.
