Default Couple of vids of my EF.

Hey guys,

Just thought I'd throw up a couple of vids of my EF. The car doesn't seem to be going 100% at the moment as the vids reflect, I think it should be going quicker. It seems to be bogging down on the change into 3rd, but I may be just imagining all this and craving more power! lol.

The vids were taken on an private access road to my mates property so they are all above board and legal.

Wow! I'm trying to work out how I can record myself at the drags, some incar shots on the strip would be good.

Love the 5 speed

Buy an old headrest from a wrecker's yard and change it so that you can mount a camera on it ;) ;)

When it comes to drag day, pull your normal headrest out and slot in your butchered one complete with camera!

I thought about that, but the camera wouldn't zoom out far enough to be able to do it.

This is the set-up I had in my 4WD to look out the front http://groups.msn.com/toyotasurf/can...o&PhotoID=4433
Should work in any car if you have a tripod and you could probably adjust is so you record the gauges.

5 Speed Manual (8 cyl)
1 2.95:1
2 1.94:1
3 1.34:1
4 1.00:1
5 0.73:1

the ratios for your t5 are spaced such that the shift from 3-4 only drops from 5500-4500, whereas the shift from 2-3 drops from 5500-4000 (on 2nd vid). Horsepower = torque X revs & horsepower is a measurement of how quickly the twisting force (ie. torque) can be produced. use a few hundred more revs before shifting into 3rd & see what difference that makes to acceleration in 3rd.
