Im thinking of buying a EF/EL station wagon and building the ultimate sleeper street car. Engine of choise - a turboed 4.0 six with around 250-280rwkw. How cool would this be. Are there any around on the forum?

Nice, i like the idea. There are certainly not enough modded EF-EL wagons out there, not to that degree anyway. If you ever do, please post many pics so us wagon owners can drool over them.

Sounds very nice, I can't think of even 1 turbo wagon in the Club. Luckily it won't be any harder to do than a sedan, and the long wheelbase and extra weight at the back should improve traction. If you're going straight gas, I strongly recommend the Tickford LPG wagons which had a very neat scuba tank, though it is on the small side.

No - wont do a gas setup; has to be petrol. With an xr6 gt35 turbo, aftermarket computer & fuel system, should be a pretty cool setup i recon.......

Have you seen snorts stuff? Pretty cheap, and proven.

Yeah i have seen the snort stuff, it looks quite good for what you get. But you still need to add quite a bit of gear to get the car to run right. Thinks like computer - i would prefer to get an aftermarket setup in the car straight away (wolf or ems are good and reasonably priced) and upgrade the injectors and fuel pump. Also intercooler and plumping!!
