Hey guys
Need some help here... Ive just signed up to EBAY for the purpose of selling my other car (EF2 Ghia). Ive had so many dramas selling it so far and its just sitting in my other garage. At the moment its out of rego and has no RWC. Every person that has queried about it is scared off because of those issues, without even looking at the car. From what i can see (and i do have good mechanical knowledge) the car is in great condition, its very straight and clean. I want to sell it on ebay because its seems to be the place for a quick and easy sell. I want about 4,500-5000 for it... Does this sound a bit optimistic for that model? If people want details on the car to help me with a price i will gladly give them, but in no way is this a for sale thread. I just need some opinions, tips or share your experiences when selling a car on ebay. Cheers Nick |

How many kms has it done? Do you know what it needs for a RWC? I know someone in the market for exactly this

Update your listing on ebay to include a link to this thread
You'll find the fact that you're a new ebay member may scare some people off. You seem honest to me.

I've only ever bought a car on Ebay.
I've heard a lot of people have issues with it, especially descriptions, as what someone calls showroom condition, others refer to as rough daily driver condition...

Just get an RWC and 3 months rego for it, then you won't be scaring so many people off.

Thanks for the replies fellas
XRated: It has done 180,000ks. Argon Silver 16" tickford wheels etc etc All it needs for a RWC, from what i can see, is a set of tyres and a windscreen. `67: This car is in excellent condition for something from 95. It puts my EL to shame... :( JC-XRWgn Being a photographer isnt the most well paid job... (yet) Unfortunetly I cant afford to hook it up with a rwc and reg :( Last edited by MustangNicko; 14-12-2005 at 05:27 PM. |

Lots of tire kickers on ebay.
I got no less than 10 offers to swap the AU for another car plus cash. It ended up selling to a guy that doesnt have the internet but his mate saw the car on ebay.

LOADS of tyre kickers on ebay, has been a waste of time for me unless you want to sell the car for next to nothing plus deal with idiots un reasonable requests you dont get sales off Ebay even if you get bids. Its good advertising though put ya number up and just use it as advertising rather than an auction.
