I agree mate. I don't understand why we are still justifying ourselves to certain people that just don't get it.

Maybe just change the word loophole to entitlements, because that's what it is.....an entitlement, something the government has offered. People misconstrue loophole to automatically mean rort.

But they aren't loopholes. Everyone has the same opportunity in life to do the job they choose. Without those 'loopholes' would we have skilled GPs in the remote locations? There are a million examples of jobs offering a benefit to keep employees.

An electrical assistant I know gets a fuel allowance and gets to claim interest plus depreciation on a car, yet he drives from home to work.

People make out we are all some how cheats?

Be interesting to know the occupation of those so against these fringe benefits.
