Yes it has to go to Regency Park for a numbers check as a minimum.
I've only done it with new cars unsure if there is any other inspection needed on a used car or van. Be aware there are 2 inspection places at Regency Park. http://www.sa.gov.au/topics/transpor...pection-tier-2 Last edited by peaterj; 15-07-2015 at 10:11 AM. |

I needed a numbers check.
Had it done at Lonsdale. Was easy and people were nice enough. Hardest part was the long wait with nothing to eat close by :-) https://www.sa.gov.au/topics/transpo...pection-tier-2 |

They also check minor things (during a Tier 2). Girl i worked with inherited her aunties car, and they made her rip the tint off before they'd pass it. I bought one of my cars in VIC and it was 5 minutes checking the numbers and then it was all good (and then line up at the normal TransportSA office for plates) |
