whats the EL XR6 97 like?
are they all that powerful with a 4spd automatic, and how would they go with one of those adjustable shiftkit from www.shiftkits.com.au ? whats the most common problem on these is it headgasket?

In automatic form the performance is nothing to write home about. At Heathcote I've seen and raced quite a few stock to mild E-series XR6 autos and they are usually running 16s.
