gday guys just picked up some damn cheap near new front and back King SSL's for my EF, im planning to fit the springs and monroe rear shocks this weekend, ive got hold of some spring compressors just wondering is it as straight forward as compressing the springs un doing the shocks replacing springs and or shocks and thats it?

the rears are easy as... jack it up, rest it on car stands, drop the diff which will extend the travel of the shocks... Undo the lower shock bolt, and the top one, the shock will then come out, you will then be able to remove the spring...
front is a little different... much more involved... i cant quite remember off hand... but munroe shocks arent the best... if your going SSL, your MUCH better off getting some decent shocks.. Monroe are the same as the standard shocks. IMHO save up for some konis. www.gtsuspension.com.au have good pricing. or, you could put lows in the front, with pedders sports ryder shocks in the front. The pedders front strut has a 30mm lower spring carrier which is why its so low with just low springs. this will lower the front about 60mm... this is what i have done... and i have superlows in the rear with koni shocks.
