Exclamation EL xr6 In an EA

today while looking in the quokka...(local trader) for a multipoint engine for my conversion...i found an entire xr6 motor out of an el for 650. is it worth me getting this over my stock 3.9 soon to be multi poinbt.?
whats involved with doing the swap?

$650 is pretty decent for a EL XR6 motor, you'll get 164kw instead of the ~139Kw with the multipoint conversion, the EL motor would most likely have less km's too. I'd do it if I was you. btw you also get a slightly aggresive cam, slightly harder valve springs etc etc.

Wow thats a steal, just make sure its a true bargain and not a dead motor

and yes it would be worth the conversion, light EA with powerful EL XR goodies.........= a fun car to drive!
