Default What is the normal range for the temp needle on BA I6 NA

Hi there
I have looked in the owners manual & this question is not coverd. The normal position of my temprature needle sits about halfway between 1/4 & 1/2. But on really warm days & sitting on traffic such as a maccas drive-thru without moving much for about 10 mins its runs a tad under 1/2. Anyone know what the normal range is? The reason i ask my previous car a 2001 Lancer never ran & 1/2 no matter the conditions.

i think you will find that normal
My wifes NA XR6 is the same Dec 02 now completed over 115,000
Towing in Hilly terain will even get the needle just over the half way mark if you are pushing it a little but never gets any hotter than that

mine usually sits just under half, but thats in city traffic. It gets lower when it gets a run on some decent road.

My SX Territory TX AWD does the same as well.
When towing on warm days it sits just a hair under half ... has never gone over it though.
