hi guys how are you has anyone out there been silly enough to fit airbags to the e series car if so how much did it cost whats it like to drive how hard is to fit and where did you get the kit from and what functions does the kit do

I think it would be basically illegal and unless yo ubuild a few cars to be crash tested it will never pass a roadworthy.
In short I would never consider it or be willing to trust it.

There are no kits, and would be a ***** to do as the shock goes though the middle of the spring, so you would either have to some how make new brackets to take the bags or remount the shocks some how.
Anyway it is very illegal and unless you could get someone to engineer it. |

Another thought if it was easy enough, then i am sure ads would be all over the TV scaring people into getting air bags retrofitted, lack of any sort of after market as surely got be a for a reason.
