Default Clue to next Monaro

http://carsguide.news.com.au/story/0...hpscrollamatic

Holden is into the last months of the VZ Commodore and finalising launch plans for the VE and Statesman. Mooney says the final production time is now locked in place and the runout has begun.

"We are low on stock. Our dealers would say now that we are short of stock," Mooney says. "We don't have any issues on runout. Our production lines are fine." But GM Holden is going to face another challenge, as Ford is definitely working on a BFIII Falcon for the final months of 2006.

If this car is released, it should be called Camaro, after all the hype of the LAST Monaro, it should stay buried.

Do you think Ford would let Holden release something as big as the VE without something to counter attack it with. Not likely.

If they were to release another all new monaro they'd leave themselves wide open to a law suit.

If the guy who bought the supposed last monaro on EBAY, payed what he did for that car. He'd sure as hell have a few extra $$$ to take Holden to the cleaners for false advertising ;)
