Default Stamp Duty on a Club Reg Car?

Hi Guys..
If an imported car that has only ever been on club reg in Victoria and then is subsequently sold to a new owner in Queensland, does the new owner pay stamp duty on the transfer of ownership if the car will be on Qld club reg?

As fare as I know stamp duty is payable on the sale price of the car. The new owner pays for it along with the registration regardless of classic or full reg.

For NSW, no stamp duty if you are putting on club rego. Had a similar situation - bought car interstate which was unregistered and put on club rego in NSW. No stamp duty was payable. Almost fainted in shock. No reason why Qld would be different but happy to be corrected.
