Default New Ford Capri - Is Ford ruining another name plate?

What is everyone's thought on Ford using the Capri name on a rebadged VW Electric Car?

Would it sell well if it was offered here?

Clueless.. Company..

Great vehicle again tainted by using an iconic name.

See Holden. Commodore/Insignia..

We can't we have new names new badges new slogans new.. always looking back...

A actual new Capri rear drive with a v6 like a Z now that would get me intrigued.

Well technically if sold here, it would be the 3rd time the name plate was used on 3 very contrasting models.
