Default help neede

ford laser 2000 kn or kq not sure first question does the model have and immobiliseror not not sure of problem just did head gsket replacment all back together no spark no fuel no power to red wire on the coil conection car is crancking it is a 1.8 engine anhy help advice is much appericated thanks in advanced michael

thank you aussie blue so what iam reading is that as my daughter has been driving this car the imobliser is in the key it self so my problem is nit related to the imobliser iam i right in asuming this

from what i have looked at the wireing digram the fuel pump and the coils run via the main fuse /rely i have tryed to run power from the fuel pump relay to the pink 30am fuse but still do no get fuel pump to work jumped across the fule pump relay only get a clicking sound from something clicking under the bonnet not fuel pump i guess it will be back to checking the wireing again this arvo any thiing help is very much appericated thank you

I know it sounds stupid but just make sure that the battery in the key isn't flat.

this modle does not have a battery in the key its the key my daughter has been useing for the last couple of years

well to be honest i have no idea why it saying the usa have tryed to edit it but no alowing me i will not put my locatin in brisbane as well as i use a vpn if u look at the car i drive a 2005 ba ford xr6 at the moment trying to get som information on my problem with a 2000 kn laser i will say thank you for the link to a wireing digram i am still tring to find the problem at the moment as from the wireing digram iam haveing no power to the blue wire going into the coils will be tracing back to the main relay today looking at the digram it seam the fuel pump and coils run on the same circut

very true ive got broad shoulders any how been doing more reading just another could it be either a cam sensor or cranshaft sensor alougy did not touch the crank sensor but had to remove the cam sensor michael

unfortantly still needing help with this car what is the imput voltage to the cam sensor and crank sensor what iam reading on the input wire on both is about 2 volts and from what i read not sure should it be 12 volts thank you still checking crank sensor and the cam sensor michael
