“Zdoroviy son” translates as “Healthy sleep”
There’s no ingredients listed anywhere on the box, think it’s probably valerian with zinc and glycine. I’ve got generic Stilnox as well, but reluctant to use them.

This evening's “Feel good” moment was watching an early live performance of Stray Cat Strut. Mr Setzer looks so awfully young - I wonder if his mother knew where he was?

Seeing a filthy, high mileage diesel SUV go out the door after a full EGR service. Weeping main seals, weeping transfer case, weeping cam cover, EGR takeoff blowing - it was a three day party of soot and grime.

Well this made me laugh more than feel good.
Trump celebrating his first 100 days in office just as figures come out and show the US economy has gone backwards for first 3 months of 2025.
Trumps response, predictably, blame Biden.

It’s standard fare for incumbents to blame their preceding number. You’d be suss if they didn’t!

I would too, if I had 8 million 100 year old people claiming social security as DOGE found.
I reckon the US economy will bounce back and then some.

Of course the US economy will go backwards when so many policies are being changed.
Markets need time to adjust. This was told from before the election.
Markets are already stabilising and many cost of living expenses are already coming down in the US.

It's only 3 months into a 4 year rebuild and there's a lot more to come.

Checked in to a hotel for the weekend today. I've stayed there a few times and get on well on a personal level with the staff. Booked a studio apartment (this place is serviced apartments) and thats fine as its just me. Normally i get upgraded to a 1 bedroom which i appreciate. This time i got upgraded to a 3 bedroom appartment. No idea why, deffinately not complaining.

Another fun day volunteering at the Motor Museum in Perth.
Group of year 10s came through, we cooked them a BBQ lunch.
They were there for 4 hours, wondering around and had to draw one car.
So one kid I spotted 3 times by him self wondering aimlessly.
Tried to give him some inspiration on a car to draw, we had a friendly rivalry over Ford and Holen.
Anyway, end of the day I asked how he went, he showed me half a pencil drawn car.
Tells me he got too tired to finish it.
Yeah, those pencils can get heavy.
Found another kid asleep in a car with his sunnys over his eyes out like a light.
3 female teachers had a great relaxing day.
One was complaining about her Ranger having a recall and how the dip stick was too short, wouldn't go all the way in.
Well that left the door open for some innuendo, my replies had them in stitches.
Don't worry, no kids around.

Found out as to why i got the top tier room upgrade for the very base rate. Only got the low down as im good with the staff. Its supply and demand. I booked weeks in advance so supply and no demand so cheap rate. In that time demand went up and supply went down, the place was fully booked. Hence price went sky high (not for me). So the studio apartment i booked, they sold it to someone else at 3 times what i paid. The 1 and 2 bedders, they're also an easy sell even at inflated prices. The 3 bedders not as easy to sell. So my rate was fixed as the cheap rate as i booked well in advance. So i did something right for a change. Lesson is, economy of scale, book well in advance if possible.

Doesn't sound like these kids had much fun. I mean, I would have loved to go on a field trip like that in Year 10. Instead, I had to go to the sales yard, tip toeing around piles of cow manure.

So did we! They blathered on in school about CALM (Computer Aided Livestock Marketing, in an era where the Microbee was barely superseded) but whenever we were at saleyards it was all old-school auctioneers, weather cold and drizzly or too darned hot.

Highlights of my school years would probably be the Overland Track before it was all duckboards and gazillions of punters (think mud, black leeches, ancient huts and festering longdrops) and hiking the Snowies a couple of times - nearly trod on a tiger snake!

…Getting a nice text back from the ranger who’d been sent to make my life miserable a few weeks ago.

I’d put the schmooze on overdrive when we met; it seems to have paid off - the Karens have been told there’s nothing more which can be done about their perceived hillbilly neighbours.

Almost flow-coated, quite happy with my result for a literal backyard job. A few inclusions but I strove to pick a day with still air. It’s a pearl black called “Kosmosschwarze”.

Stopped into a local Salvos and there was a big tub of Lego for $100 with instruction booklets.
Hard to tell how complete it all was but took the punt.
Sorted most of it over the weekend and there's over 20 near complete sets of City, System, Star Wars, Batman.
Perfect bunch of gifts for my 6yo.

Then the same night I bid on another tub of Lego on a local auction site. Spent a bit more but theres at least another 25 sets.

Hope my boy doesn't lose interest in Lego anytime soon!
