if you don't care if it will give you extra power than why are you bothering ? or is just for the note ?

Should give a fairly nice increase uptop not that you will notice it driving ther Family around. :P Might help fuel economy slightly too.

I've got a big exhaust leak and if I rammed a screwdriver through the centre muffler I would get less back pressure and it would be cheaper. Do you think it would sound the same and give the same performance?

You'll notice a huge difference in fuel economy. I did on my EF as it has that exact system. And up top you really feel it kick in too.

I definately need to get my setup louder!

well guys and girls

i picked up the car tonight from the exhaust place and it sounds a treet

i decided not to removable mufler as it was going to add $90.00 to the price

as i have only driven it a short didstance i havnt been able to really test it for power gains or fuel econ

I have heard that getting a full exhaust gives you better fuel economy but no one has ever supplied figures for this.

Have you got a farimont with the litres per 100klms display - if so what does it display now.

OR how many k's to a tank

Yep mine went up with the full exhaust. But Im thinking thats because of al's old hollow cat that is being replaced this week that im told will make the car run ritcher. See how it goes after. But at the moment its getting 380 to a tank :

A few places advertise that a full exhaust will give you better fuel economy - something about better/easier and smoother and non restriction of exhaust flow.

BUT yes I do think its a whole load of rubbish as well but as EF_Machine stated that you will notice a difference i was wondering if there was proof of this

A drop in mileage could be due to a desire to hear the note all the time too.

Same system as mine Jason, apart from the Hi-flo Cat. Looking forward to hearing the note that it produces at the next cruise. Keep us posted on any performance or fuel eco changes you notice over the next week or so.

Cheers Paul

If i'm the 2nd person Joe's talking about with the full exhaust, my car isnt that loud so i dont rev it any harder. If only my exhaust was louder :

Fuel econ seams to have got worse since the systems was installed...

Be interesting to see what Jasons does for him, as i mentioned above same system as mine apart from the HI Flow car.

well guys and gals

i have had the system on the car for a week and a bit now

the fuel consumption side to me is a little bit better and i seem to be driving it a bit harder to

i also have done about 240 ks on a half tank with a mixture of highway driving ( a trip to melbourne from geelong ) and driving to and from work about 6 ks each way

the power gains are noticable but minimal
