I went for a ride in my mates FPV GT yesterday and was wondering if these wonderfull seats that wrap around you so nicely can be fitted into my EF?

Weld the old rails onto the new seats....Done.

What about the electrics, straight forward wire to 12v supply or more complex than that? I would assume the control box would be part of the seat and all it would need is a supply run to it. I have been quoted $500 per seat, second hand. Does that sound reasonable?

I would love this as a mod, but as you said @$500 per seat it's quite an expensive comfort mod, if you got the money then why not. $500 per seat is cheaper than i thought it would be though.

for $500 per seat you can get custom seats that offer more support than the gt ones especially around the shoulder area
