This is one that has been annoying me for a while now:
The carpet on the driver's side footwell has started wearing severely and now has huge holes in it. What is the best way to go about fixing this problem without spending to much money, and i'm not looking for a half assed fix like just throwing a matt over it. |

You can buy carpet layers tape, its wide and very sticky, the pros use it to repair / lay carpet , you would need some matching carpet if possible then cut out a square ( damaged carpet ) lay in the tape around all sides with half under the old and half exposed to press the new piece onto.

the carpets are moulded so its just a matter of pulling out seats/console/sill trims/kick panels and pulling out the old carpet and putting the new stuff in its place.
doesn't need an adhesive it'll stay in place
