MS2 is more like $550, plus sensors, wiring, assembly and a WBO2 sensor to tune it. Off the top of my head you'll also need a boost controller, intercooler piping, a dump pipe, injectors, custom engine mounts, custom trans mount, trans cooler, new diff, 5-stud wheel setup.

Beating a near stock GenIII Commodore with a turbocharged, EFI, OHC Cortina doesn't really sound like something you'd brag about, IMO...
i thought ms2 was cheaper than that, a mate has ms1 being put on his rover v8, and it has so far cost him almost $250

and yes i would brag about it, especially if the ls1 challenged me...

another option is dropping a windsor into the same car, or turbocharging the existing 250 X-flow

i have a mate with a VX SS genIII, he has recently put on a supercharger kit from capa and made 255rwkw....its good but not great, he is runnin 6pnd boost and cost him just over $5000 with a tune....the VX SS is 225kw at fly.......thats bout 170kwrw on those....if u turbo a 6 cylinder falcon with decent cam, port-polish exhaust and cai you will quiet comforftably annilate the genIII if u just boost her up a bit....might i add that the I6 takes quiet a beating....if u have a boost controller just boost her up when u decide to kill
