Unhappy What is the best adhesive for roof lining

I have done a search but cannot find a suitable response.
I have installed a vinyl roof into eav8 but the spray adhesive I used doesn't seem to be strong enough to hold it to the backing board.

Can anyone please recommend a permanent bonding adhesive that would be suitable for this job.

I have used Beargrip when I used to do stereo installs for the carpet to the MDF board. I also used it once on a head lining I did and it worked well. Just gotta make sure you put it on both sides of what ever you are glueing, wait for it to go tacky and then stick it. Buy it from Bunnings in a small can, use a paint brush to apply.
