Default Broke isc thingi

on the side of the isc there is a little black cap. I think its just a cover for the little breather pipe.

Any way i smacked mine with a ratchet by accident and its broken.

Is this going to have any effect on any thing? I guess ford put it there for a reason.

PS. How much is and isc actually worth

i think that cap is a breather and it also protects dust and dirt from getting it, i dont think it would effect it but if ur worried put a pod filter on it and ull be rice! i mean right!

what the hell are you talking about? christ. He's not talking about the PCV valve, he's talking about the little black knob on the ISC.

As far as i know, that black knob type thing doesn't do much. If the car still runs ok, I wouldn't worry about it. If you start having problems with idle, etc, replace it.
