Reading an old mag ( for a 60's party idea's coming up ), came across a full page article on how to slash you costs by 30% and a graph on where the money goes. would not like to do one for 2006.

In 1969 the average wage was about $27.00 for men. About $20.00 for women. It was law that women were to be paid 25% less than men. I think that it was 1970 when that law was over turned.

if the average wage here is 500 a week now that works out to $4250 per year on petrol going by inflation only. (v8)
$100 on petrol now per week is $5200 pa but our cars are a hell of alot more effecient lol

Hmmm...if I was living in 1969, I'd have bugger all.
But if I had the same amount, I'd have 45 grand. Nice. I'd buy a lot of Falcons, store them away, give them some juice every so often and let them accumulate value. No I wouldn't. I'd put money into Microsoft. Then I wouldn't even have to write here. I'd get my maid to do it for me. |
