Hey all another newbie here =)

hey how yas all doin well its been awhile since ive had my bum in a falcon (that i owned) over 7 years, used to own a S2 EB falcon sedan and just over a week ago i bought a 11/04 BA MKII XR6 in velocity with blue interior.

been starting to check the net for some simple ideas on making the car my own, ie so that it doesnt look like every other xr in town. have already removed ford badge from front grille and replaced with a custom made xr badge, and im planning to change tailights to the black altezza style ones and replacing the stock wing with a gt wing, im also thinking some sort of bonnet scoop/vent mainly because i love em and no-one else around here has done it yet. Oh wheres here? i live in Emerald in Central QLD well know for our coalmines and 1/2 an hour from the gemfields, so whats everones take on my planned changes anyone got any ideas??

Seriously what you do to the car is your deal no one else's.

Nothing wrong with Emerald ppl its the imports for the mines...as for where I'm at well i'm very close to Tin Can Bay.

Just to clarify I've known the owners of the Highlands motel since the late 90's always stop there on trips to and from 'The Alice'

Tin Can Bay.... I love that area. We came very close to buying some land there about 3 years ago. But the vendor started doing funny buggars, so we said rack off. Do you get down to feed/meet the dolphins very often? They were trying to stop that last time I was over there. Oh, and welcome Velocity. You will be OK in here as long as you dont mention the war..... I did, but I think I got away with it..... (Basil Fawlty)

Good to see you came back to the true believers, as for mods..... highly recommend an Edit and Custom tune.... you wont be sorry..... that is until you have to buy another set of rear tyres

Well as for the dolphins went there once very unreliable...don't know why they get paid, turn up when they want which is not regular.

Yes it is a great area mind you the price is climbing. However if your've a mind to its still cheaper than most other places...so move soon or miss out.

As for the minister for the environment trying to shut it down she lost Beattie stepped in and fixed it left her very embarassed.
Mind you they did change the rules of feeding etc.

The real story behind this is rather intriguing...the owner of Barnacles walked away when the final deal was done and left his kids to run the show comes back after awhile and claims kids screwed business and is now trying to sue his own kids.

Emerald was good, getting rather huge now!
My relies own Central Bike Centre, have done for a while now.
Used to live there back in the late 90's, and went back for a brief stint in 01.
