What i did the first and last time...
Was in a large shopping centre, middle of the day several years ago.. I saw him, he saw me and he ran Ankle tapped him and by some luck when he hit the ground... BAM OUT COLD... Ooops Dragged his sorry, teenage a$$ to centre management, Waited for the boyz in blue  Damaged my door locks, had the CD player half out.

If I caught them?
I keep a roll of gaffa tape and cable ties in the boot, would probably take them far far away, several hours walk from any town, with permanent marker write all over them "I am a theiving f**ker". Burn all their clothes in front of them then let them wander back home. |

I'd tell them to make sure to burn the car, or wreck it beyond repair. Then walk away.
