some nice pics there, Jez did you buy that from Ebay? And do you still have the Kahn Wheels?

Mine's a Herrod Ute too, with mods as listed in my sig. Had the interior done in it before I bought it, but was put back to standard. Spewing.

I think you purchased a brand new ute considering the k's it had on it and that interior is to die for.
Pics don't do this ute any justice at all.

Very nice slo351, being owned previously by Phil, I'm sure you would be over the moon with your purchase as Phil is a picky bugger.
Now, enjoy your time and $$$ once the mod bug hits you. :

Mine is Build Number 73, AU3 XR8 Ute, came from Herrod with:

Suspension and Camber Kit
330mm brakes (same as yours)
Interior (was removed before I bought it :()
Full Exhaust, Cats and Headers
Unichip (removed, had Herrod edit it earlier in the year)
Intake Pipe (same as yours)
CAI system (big widemouth snorkel and filter in factory airbox)
YT 1.72 Rockers
TS50 Dash
70mm Throttle Body

pics here www.aufalcon.com/b2tf

So there's now 3 members of "Team Black AU Herrod Ute" on the forums :hihi:

Should come up well, let me know how you go with it. I'm keen to put some Alpine splits into mine.

im going to leave the tweeters in the pillar, although people say to have them pointing at you, i just dont want to cut up the car... i would prefer it to look stock, than ricey! and with the crossovers, if i can squeeze them in behind the door trim, or actaully in the door, i think that would be the nicer option..

I mounted my tweeters where the factory premo. sound tweeters are and the crossovers in the glovebox.

My tweeters are in the factory position (well i put them there the covered the with the a pillar), as for the crossovers, the one for the left speakers is located just to the left of the passenger airbag (take the cover off that side of the dash and it's in there between the cover and the glovebox.
As the the right side speaker, it's behind the dash, just to the right of the center facisa (center facisa has to be off to access it), it was the only place close that hade enough room to mount them for me

cheers
