Default emergency!! I need to convert a PDF to Text!! HELP!

Hi guys, I have a bit of a dilemma, I have a major assignment due on monday which I should have started ages ago!!

Anyways, I need to use some information from business policies at work but they are all PDF files.

Does anyone have a copy of a program to convert the PDF's to Text that they can email me, or can someone tell me how to do it?

This would save me heaps of time and I would be eternally grateful!!

Thanks guys
Dan

There are a number of convertors around but most of them are fairly poor in terms of the actual conversion. If there aren't too many email them to me and I'll convert them and send them back.

Russ

Glad it worked out for you. I was about to make the same offer, as I'm running Acrobat Pro 6, which converts back to Word document.

No actually you need to backdate it. The selection feature in reader dropped with later revisions. And selecting and pasting text would be a pretty painful way if the document in question is large.

There are a few conversion programs available which offer differing degrees of success.

I can highlight text in the one I have but I cant copy and paste it. I think the PDF document I am using are protected so they cant be modified.
