Default Next Gen Focus... Styled Like Mondeo...

Looks good In the report Here it suggests that it will be in showrooms in Europe before years end!

I love the three quarter front angle. Very masculine and aggressive.

The back however seems all a bit unresolved and messy. Think they should have retained the Focus' distinctive high mounted tailights I reckon.

Good find Martyvan

Gear shifts need to be on the floor mide mid way up the dash console.

Now thats a focus, 10 times better than what we have at the moment. I hope that the interior is up to to par unlike the current and previous versions.

HOTNESS!

Now if any thinks the Orion isn't going to look like the mondeo/focus then they are on something pretty hardcore.

Yeah! Looks the goods! Thats whay i like about this new focus and the old - meatyness!!

The tail lights are shocker though.....too astra!

The shot of the side from the front looks like an Alpha. Looks like they have chopped the roof a little too. Good move - there is almost too much head room in the current Focus - hopefully thay have dropped the seats a little too!

Mondeo is ugly - this is more to my taste.

I really like it but...Its too much of a mini-me Mondeo. If you didn't know any better you would think its a Mondeo hatch.

Unmistakably a Focus on the side view.

Its missing the long and high tail and indicator light cluster. I really like this in the Focus. Its a fundamental Focusness missing. Now the back is like every other hatchback. :-/

Overall though, a stunning design. I really like it. Muscular, purposeful, subtle but likeable menacing face. Will be saving my pennies.

I like it.

It looks like a Ford. Just like the new generation of Mazda's look like Mazda's.

I hope Orion has some of those strong styling cues.

Thats my only gripe... Not only is it safer having higher mounted lights, but it looks preetty cool as well...

If only they could integrate the "Focus Rear Lights"

I can't beleive that ford are actually starting to make some really good looking cars as a result of a "design theme"!

I am keen to get my hands on one of these Focus if it comes out looking like that. A diesel ST would be the one to go for. However not liking the interior pic from the S-MAX. I don't like the high gear shift placement.

they are better pics, but still not to my taste. Sorry folks - just personnel taste.

I dont like the bonnet - comes to a point - very alpha and i dont like alpha's

The mid top section just looks like the current focus - i thought this is meant to be a totally 'new' design.

Also with the new tuch up focus arriving in OZ in a few months - there will be a sedan version - which looks like this - to me the Mondeo and Focus look to alike - if given the choice I would take the focus because it looks the more aggressive of the two. The mondeo just looks a little to princy to me.

Also what is with those rims?!?!? WE HAVE SEEN THEN ALREADY!! The current Focus XR5 and the Astra Turbo?!?! 'New' i think not!

What i do like is the doors - i love the flared line down the side! Great!
