After a couple of months since its release has anybody seen one if those new Holden Epica's(camira) on the road? I have never seen one in the flesh so I'm wondering if it is a flop or not?

I've seen one parked in a local driveway about a week after the release.
Someone must have been pretty keen to get one. Only other ones I've seen have been sitting on the lot at the local GMH dealership.

It probably has a bad rep already. being a rebadged ancient korean car with less power than a bicycle.

The Epica was release in May 2007. So far Holden have sold 179 in May and 480 in June - total 659.

Rebadged Daewoo Matiz.
A friend of mine works for a Sydney dealership. He had a Vectra as a company car and loved it, but they've replaced it with an Epica. He reckons it's shite. |

As much as I hate Camry's I would buy one over that hunk of junk Epica if of course I was in the market for a new "boring medium sized A to B whitegoods car that will lose half its value when you drive out the door".
Pfft at 115kw from a 2.5L 6 cylinder medium sized car. Korean bicycle indeed.

That's the Craptiva ..... sorry ... Captiva.
Looks like it drives OK on roof tops of buildings ... but apparently crap on road. Not sure what other vehicle comes standard with anti-roll-over protection for overtaking maneouvres.

They're selling rather well.
More through the fleet channel than anywhere else. It's the Holden 'car' for those who'd normally get a camry. "The car for people who feel they need to drive, not wanting to drive for enjoyment". |

It was from a small european manufacturer known for cars such as the 911 Turbo S. Hyundai first used the 2.0 i6 way back in 2000. |
