Default Organising Cheap/Quality resprays soon

hey guys....

finally hooking up a booth from a mate and will be able to provide quality resprays for around the 2200-3000 mark, car has to be stripped down to what you want off, whats left on will be masked...
Anything additional wanting done just PM me (scratches, stone chips, small dents etc)
If all goes to plan should be organsing in about 4 weeks as im goin to NZ soon.

As i said im relying on a mate with getting booth/materials so im not gunna be some guy making promises i cantkeep so im just puttin the idea out there as an EOI

thanks :

PS: In Sydney area

Considering a full respray with them doing all the work could cost anywhere near 5-6K at least, this price dosent sound too bad to me.

Still possible, you'll just need to do all the prep work yourself. Strip the car, rub it back, fix up dents, stone chips, deep scratches etc, prime it, rub back, repeat until perfect. Theres more steps involved but thats the basis.
If your just getting a respray of the same colour you'll save money as door jams and the engine bay dont need to be done. But if you get a colour change theres a lot more work, especially the engine bay.

You might be able to get some hints of Rymers, I think he's respray was pretty cheap considering he did most of the work himself.

guys read carefully. i said strip down, takin off moulds and clips and things, the prep work will be done by me.....all you have to do is strip off the parts you dont want masked up, understand? all prep work done by and painted for that price... and Felony, it is in the same sentence....everything done properly... im doin after hours to make some extra money, if the prices were higher people wouldnt be inclined to get there cars lookin good, at this price there will be alot of interest

righto sweet sweet, yeh SgtBourne all you have to do is like take parts off the car ie:guard repeaters, washer jets, badges or anthing where you dont want there to be a build of paint around? If i mask them up, paint them, when i peel off the maskin material once its been baked, the masking material will have paint on it that connects onto the body....so unmasking it will cut the clear coat around the objects masked, understand....if the parts are stripped off the car then paint will go onto the whole panel rather then everywhere but the underneath of the parts left on that were masked......?

ok sorry guys about leaving a bit long, few things fell through but all sweet now with MUCH better news... righto same deal as before except price has come down to the $1600- $2000 mark for the exact same deal.... just so you know the difference between the $1600-$2000 mark is for additional things fixed like faded/cracked/crows feet fixed. dents etc....

All is go ahead so feel free to PM me if you have had the bug for getting your car looking brand new again and knowing it will stay like that
cheers finny

dont do that. this bloke is offering quality stuff at a good price, if you know a painter or ur dads a painter or whatever then just keep it to yourself and let this kid make a few backyarders. i hate it when people say "i can get it for this" when the price im offering is allready 50% of what rrp is.

nar its cool ebeatn if you think you can achieve what im offering for $1000, or even under 1000 then go for it lol, i would for that price, IF its to the same quality lol

but back to the point, i work at a very good shop who are the only people in this state actually aloud to work on Rolls Royce. Other cars we do include Bentley, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborgini and Porsche, we do NOT work on day to day cars period, this will be a 2 person job and both of us work at the same shop, i wish not to disclose the shop for legality reasons, (work on the side)...thanks Efghia for your input but just so you know these will be no backyarders and painting will be down in a booth.
I have no photos of previous jobs as we have just organised a place to prep the work and paint in a booth so work is down correctly, hence why this took so long, i dont like doing dodgey work or adapting to it, i can only give my word that things will be done properly and that any car done will look better than any factory falcon. Barthez i am located in parramatta district. Mothernature, depending on car i would say 2 saturdays if theres not alot of repairs, if there is bonnets needing full primed and stuff maybe an extra day, so perhaps a a full weekend and then the saturday after? give or take on the car, not long though

Then do it.. why are you telling him for?

Also keep in mind that peoples definition of quality varies greatly - something exceptional to one person might be absolute rubbish to another.

im not intimidated by that guys cheap respray claim at all chich lol, ive seen a respray a mate payed $3500 for "quality" and was really mediocre to myself, but on the other hand he was happy with it....so yeh it does depend.... but for this price i think it will get some interest, let me know ASAP if you want to be in soonish because obviously things can change later like deals we can get on materials, different booths etc so at the moment those cheap prices are there

ok so how long it will take you ask? worked out a work with the other mate at work today, he can get the booth after work during the week, so organise car dropped off on friday night, do all the work and should be ready by tuesday, so you only lose the car for one weekend instead of 2. let me know if your interested guys.
cheers finny

Wish you were in VIC mate, I'd be interested, particularly if we could see some examples of your previous work.

Dark Blue, bonnet mainly stone chips and scratches, rear spoiler fading and boot fading scratches.

Live in Sunbury Victoria can either drive the car up and you can do it or could look at removing them from the car freighting it up.

hey mate i got no prob doing it but just lookin out for you, lol but for the time its gunna take driving up, plus petrol, then staying somewhere while it gets done, it would be the same price gettin it done somewhere down there, or even the price freighting it up... wouldnt be cheap man, what you think?
