Default 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator

hi, would anyone know where i could get a factory tpye bonnet scoop for a 1970 mercury cougar eliminator. its a forward facing fairly low and wide type. in australia hopefully. any help is greatly apreciated, thanx.

kermit 73, it does look similar but im not sure if its the same, im only going by a picture at the moment.

The boss 429 mustang scoop is very similar to that ,just a little higher and a point on the front.. I got the 429 Boss one from Mustang auto parts and is very nice finish.. Maybe with a little work would be very close to one pictured .

I was thinking the same thing until I saw the pictures of both. The Eliminator Scoop doesn't have the point a the front.

I can't offer much more info that whats already been posted, but I must say good luck with doing up an Eliminator.

I love the Ford offshoot hipo cars, The Cyclone Spoiler, Talladega and Eliminator would have to be the most unique Ford US cars in this country... I saw a Cyclone Spoiler at a swap meet years ago... IIRC it was for sale too, i might be able to dig up a pic...

mate. that boss scoop looks awesome on the XA bonnet! im nit doing up an elininator (unfortunatly!) i want the scoop to go onto my XR. and sorry to copy you Falconcoupe but my XA is going to get a Boss scoop shortly after seeing yours, thanx
