I went to change the battery on my 1978 escort today when both battery terminals (being so corroded) broke.
What do i need to do to change it?? How do i change it?? Where do i get the parts from??? |

any proper auto parts store would carry a range of pre made battery leads with the terminals already attached, its just a matter of getting the right length. or you can also get the terminals that just clamp on to the old lead, if the old ones were that bad you may not have even needed the new battery.(it may not have been making contact) some vasoline smeared over the teminals when you have installed the new ones will help to stop them from corrodding

u can buy terminals at any car parts store, and the terminals can be hard depending on what sort of connection escorts came with im not sure about that,
just look at it and see if you can get the wire out of the terminal, and clamp the new terminal on the wire! |
