MISSING DOG
Dakota, our 3 month old English Staffordshire bullterrier has gone missing. She was last seen secured in our back yard in CAVERSHAM with no means of escaping. It is believed that she has been stolen. Tuesday 14th October 2008 If you have seen her or actually have her, please call Ryan on 0438 937 023 or Debra on 0419 958 805. A large reward for her return will be given!! Please pass on to any sites you visit. |

Thats terrible mate.
Are you sure she was stolen? Ive had many dogs which are very clever in how they escape. My ridge back managed to undo a d shackle twice to escape! Alot of dogs are on heat this time of year, so check your yard carefully as dogs can find ways to leave the yard even if you think it is impossible. Also check with the local ranger/pound to see if they have picked her up. Goodluck.

She looks almost identical to my 8 month old Rotty/Black Labrador, and I mean identical down to the white underchin and toes.
I would be devastated if she went missing. I got her microchipped figuring that somewhere sometime she will have to go to the vet or the ranger. I feel your pain.

bad news mate..hope you find her soon.
My old staffy use to climb a 7 foot fence and climb half way down the other side then just simply jump off.. Couldn't believe it when i seen him do it lol. My purebread border collie i have at the moment is an escape artist. He has tunneled his way out of the yard before and i mean full underground because the fence was made into the ground. He has also fitted through the small concrete reinforcement to get out of a yard (no idea how when he is a big dog). He has bitten holes through chicken wire fence and stretch it enough to get out. He has moved a seat in order to use it to clear a brick wall. He somehow opened a round door knob to get into the garage then managed to open the roller door. Anyway i still love him lol Even if he is sometimes a pain in the butt.

www.doglost.com.au and register to list your dog. then check out the many links under WA for pound sites. Don't call the pounds. Go in and take a look. Do not trust the rangers when they say 'no sorry mate no staffies here'... they have been wrong many times before. Was your dog desexed and micro chipped??

Also check out the RSPCA in Malaga. They are a dog pound service for a few councils.

Sorry to hear about your loss mate.
Keep a look out at all the local vets and dog pounds. Staffies are the best escape artists ever, they love wandering and will jump fences, dig holes anything to get away. I have had mine for nearly 11 years and can tell you that 1st hand. Good luck finding her, i hope you get her back, i know how you feel.

All is well, she has returned.
She is skinny, has a sore paw, but was with another family for the last few days. I dont know if it was dodgy or not as he sent his kids to return her. She is happy to be home, just as her owners are happy to have her back! |

Staffies are one of the worst dogs for running away taking themselves for walks .
One of the nicest dogs to own glad to hear he came back |
