I know alot of you are victorians and probably couldnt care less about a game of rugby leauge in sydney. but todays anzac day clash between the roosters and dragons, is not on free to air television. is the horse racing really more exciting?

I guess horse's get better ratings. I wish they would stop playing so much football and cricket on One HD but I guess it gets good ratings compared to stuff that is rarer but more interesting to watch.

Pretty much good ratings bring in advertising dollars which equals more profit.
Hence why AFL bumps the V8's all the time.

Its weird that the Horse Racing would be more popular then the Rugby (mind you I saw that there is 3 games on today).

lol yeah i am...it would have been hard to watch but i never see thier games anymore since we dont have foxtel anymore....i might get it back; im sick of hearing about how we played crap, i wnna see how we played for myself.

What are you crazy, there isn't that much footy on HD1 and as for the cricket it's the IPL, i'd rather be watching them than Yanky baseball or basket ball, i bet next you'll complain about to much Motor sports and maybe Netball
