When a Daniel and Tevyn East hit a coyote at 120km/h, along Interstate 80 near the Nevada-Utah border, they assumed they had killed the animal. What would you have thought? So on they drove, for 600 more miles.

Eight hours. Two fuel stops. And only after reaching their final destination did they decided to have a look to see what damage was done
What a crock!!!!!!! As if you would keep on driving...................

Very true! First thing I would do is stop and see if the radiator had been smashed in. At 120km/h!

How do you not check for damage, even with not one but two full stops, just to have a quick glance.

Isn't that the pet coyote of the weather balloon family?

Anyone that has hit an animal at 110kph would know that story is way way implausable.

Look at the way there's plastic bits IN FRONT of the animal.

If those plastic bits had have stayed put on impact, wouldn't they have sliced right through the animal since it is BEHIND them? Or, be totally missing altogether?

Something doesn't seem right to me...

It went through in the middle but looks as it it's made it's way to the right hand side of the bumper section, thats why it looks as if the plastic on that side is undamaged - atleast from what i can tell

Very strange
After hitting it, would you not at the very least looked into the rear vision mirror and realise that the dog was not there on the road?
Very ignorant driver if all this is true.

Wouldn't the dog have burns? Surely a radiator will get hot to the touch?

its a wild animal it has fur that and the fact that there's air-con in front of the radiator would stop it from getting burnt.

At that speed there's no way even a pit-bull dressed up for gridiron would come out alive.

Wile E Coyote has survived cliff falls, explosions, being crushed by heavy objects and fires. A collision with a car at 120kmh is nothing compared to that. Of course he survived. Obviously the Road Runner can exceed 120kmh.

He does seem a bit tame for a wild dog.
