Starter Motor

Hi guys,
I have a 1989 VW Kombi being a South African import. It was ordered off the showroom floor with a 3.0l V6 Capri motor. Basically the starter motor has shat itself. The drive gear is chewed. I have tracked down a reconditioned unit however its very expensive. Does anyone have a second hand unit they would be willing to sell? Cheers Ash 0415 420 521 |

Ash, I'll have one in the shed. Where are you located as to post it wouldn't be cheap as they are a heavy lump?
