Default tailshaft query

about to start doing a manual conversion in the next few weeks, the query i have is the wreckers have sold me a tailshaft to suit an au3 xr6, being an xr6 it would have IRS? my car is NON IRS will it fit or do i have to get a shaft to suit a NON IRS

Not all xr6's were IRS, Very few Infact. Only the VCT cars had IRS, as it wasn't an option available with an XR6 HP.

thats a lot of stress taken off my mind, finding a tailshaft for a manual au is like finding a needle in a hay stack
