Default Recommended caravan parks in Melbourne

Howdy all,

We need to stay for around 4 nights close to Melbourne mid October.
We've stayed at the Big4 place in Braybrook quite a few times in the past, but they are fairly expensive. It is a nice place though.

2 other places we've inquired with are Wantirna park and Sundowner Springvale.
I have no idea what these places are like.

We're using caravans and don't need a powered site.

Alternatively, if anyone has a big enough property within 20k's of the CBD, and is willing to accommodate 2 cars/caravans for the 4 days with payment, that'd be be pretty cool too.

Let the suggestions roll in....

This one seems to be pretty good, and close to the CBD too...

We stayed here last year when our son was in Epping Hospital, it doesn't look much from the outside, but it is a very, very nice park.

Bugger I just checked the website and they have closed down - sorry about that

Werribee South Caravan Park - right on the bay easy drive to city, or drive to werribee and catch the train in.
