Default Looking for my old XA GT

Hi all this is my first post and it may seem to come across as a strange post/question but I hope somebody in the club might be able to assist in anyway:-

I used to own a 1973 XA GT but sold it to a guy up Geelong way approx. 15 years ago.
I would really like to try and get in touch with the owner of the car, whether it still be him or he may have sold it on.
It was a green on black sedan, it had the polished weld wheels and quite a hot engine.
It was in excellent condition, inside and out and had a black cloth interior.
I still remember the rego no.
LLK-609 ( I did a rego check on the Vicroads website but this rego doesn't come up so the plates may have been changed and I don't have a vin number to check up on).
I certainly aren't looking to stark the owner but I do have a genuine reason to want to try and get in contact with him or her.

Firstly I'd like to see if it's still around and secondly to see if it's for sale.

Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mick

Did you sell it to the Guy who ran Ultra Tune in Geelong?

Calypso or Jewell Green?

Auto or Manual?

What options did it have?

More info would really narrow it down!

Thanks for the interest guys in helping me out_

Jewell green,
Manual top loader
4v heads
The dash was fully original, but I had a CD player fitted into the glove box.
It had the polished style Weld Wheels, with the holes in them, with 295 tyres on the rear.
It sat really nice on the road.
Black interior, with cloth inserts.

Hi There,
Its me again.
Just wanted to reopen the search for my old XAGT.
I'm still interested in purchasing if it's still on the road.
I know I might struggle to source my orignal GT which I owned, but it would be great to have it back if it the owner was keen to sell it.
I do have a photo of it which I can post if it helps to raise the searching interest of it for me.

Do an Freedom of info request on that registration with Vicroads. Costs around $30.

Vicroads should give you the VIN.

That helps narrow it down.

I've managed to find a photo of it.
Maybe this might jolt some memory.
I sold the car back in 1997.
So its a while ago now, and to be honest, it may not be in existance anymore, but there isn"t any harm in trying.

I am tipping it was Mark Jordan who owned it after you. I remember seeing it at the Geelong All Ford day back in the '90s. A Mate borrowed his wheels for a Centura.

What an awesome group of cars.
I'd love to see if my orignial XA is still around to see if I could buy it back.
If anyone knows Mark Jordan, and if he still has it, can you please ask him to get in touch with me.

Marks XA was Red Pepper.
Peter from Ultra tune in Geelong bought a green one way back, but it wasn't jewel green, it was more like a Zircon green colour from memory. However, it was originally a white car. It was for sale a long time ago, but he wanted $1M for it, I think he still has it.....

Is that correct??

LOL! Yeah, he wanted well more than the market at the time. He was asking around $40K for it when prices were around $30K for a good one, and this one is not pristine....

He still does work there as far as I know, he's part owner. Their phone number is 52224344

From what I can remember, the car had Weld or Centreline type wheels on it

That sounds like the car, by memory it was originally a white car and it wasn't quite a Jewel Green colour.

Here she is back in the '70s.
(I rang Ultra Tune in Geelong and Peter has moved and evidently sold the car.)
