All I can do is laugh. I bet tires will be worn to the wire in less than 200km. Should handle fully sick though.

yeah i doubt tyre life or handling is real high on the owners priorities lol.
bonus is, once the tyre are worn through the markers just rotate them and wear the other edge off, theres 400km worth of use... |

I knew i had agressive camber when i had 90% tires on the front with the inside edge with wires showing lol
not a fan of deamon camber... each to their own... I don't mind a li'l bit of camber + stretch though.

some camber can look really good but to that extent its massively over done and there for overkill and looks horrible but you also need a car that will pull the look off like a particular BMW 5 series e28.

I have a client with an Audi S8 that chewed out the inside of the cars tyres within 12,000 km's. $5,000 for a set of OE tyres. He asked the Audi workshop to reset the camber to accomodate a more reasonable tyre life and they refused to change it from factory spec.
I guess if you can afford an Audi S8 you're not supposed to care about little things like $5,000 for a set of tyres every 12,000 km's. Makes owning and running a SC GT-P look bloody cheap !! |

Probably worse than the OP's pic - funny how the stickers on the tyre tread haven't even worn off. |

I was thinking.....
What if a tyre manufacturer made variable profile tyres to allow the aggressive neg camber 'look' without any reduction of traction and road holding?? ie, a tyre that had a 50 series profile on the outside, and a 30 series profile on the inside??? Hmmmmm.... Sorta like the offset Nolathane bushes that modify the placement of the suspension arms to give you 1-1.5 degrees of neg camber.

It looks terrible which is why its bad. How does it looking bad make it awesome? Some cars have things that are unique and different which makes them awesome, this is not one of them >.<
Not to mention the amount of issues that would come of it. |

It's just a mock-up. The tyres aren't even fitted to the rims by the looks of it.
It is strange how the Japanese have some unique car crazes that seem to spread around the globe though. I wonder if our "Bogan" look will catch on globally !!

I'm laughing too. As you say, the edges would wear out real quick but handling would be non-existant. It wouldn't steer in a straight line, let alone through corners. My F6 used to handle best at 2 degrees negative around Lakeside. I tried 3.5 degrees once when running slicks and wore out the inside edge so fast that the left hand front blew-out half way through Carousel and I only just managed to pull it up before the fast approaching embankment. |
