Exclamation HELP bogged central coast nsw

hi need help! Got bogged in Heaton state forest, a track off freemans waterhole. theres a dirt road that comes off freemans drive, not far from the freeway. Theres two gates down it, ive gone down the right one and im near the end of it.

Is there anybody with a 4wd that can come recover me?

My GPS co ords are:
032 59' 18.7'' S
151 27' 38.5'' E

Police are of no use, nobody nearby to help. Already posted on the 4wd forum. No use.

My number is 0450 537 964

Theres a case in it for anyone who comes, will pay fuel costs too.
Kinda sinking too so as quick as possible would be great!

Help!
Mike

good to see you got out, and hopefully take on board the lessons...

off roading by yourself, without the right gear isnt the smart option...

did you get any pics?

True. Every weekend my wife and I take out the 4wd on the weekend I always over loaded with stuff from snatch straps to radiator hoses because we never know where we end up.

Last time he managed to blow the radiator, and this time he got bogged! FYI, not much water ended up getting in by the end... Managed to mOve it a bit so no more water could get in...

Here's one of a few pics anyway...

Having just driven through there, Mike thought it'd be fine if he drove back the way he went... Back end went out and yeah, you can guess how it went after that...

gotta love diesels and a well setup intake for river crossings. and the bonus of having that much water inside it would have washed the skid marks right off the seat.

It was only a reccie run, it would have been fine if the track didnt end up being severley overgrown. Had to backtrack...suffice to say i hate clay now. I must have churned it up on the way through the first time. The rear end slid into a deeper rut and it was game over.

Not doing this again in a million years. And i turned around on a different track saying "i dont wanna get bogged, ill be stuffed!"...then went and did it on a different one...

Only on the left hand side where all the wiring is sealed up. Alarm keeps going off though..and the rhs indicator turned on and stayed on for most of the time in the bog hole.
Though if anyone wants to buy....

Well when i have no 4wd mates, nobody helpful on the UHF, nobody wheeling nearby, main road being a long walk...cops dont do recoveries, i have reception and the internet, after making it move half a meter after a couple of hours...figured id post here too.

I now have a nice case of what i hope is diff whine. Oh and water is sloshing around somewhere in the back of the cabin. And the alarm just went off twice for no reason. Ho hum.

Pics so you all can laugh.

great pics... even if you get a hi-lift jack, they can be used as a hand winch, slow but very effective.
i pulled my old patrol out of horrible clay'ey ruts with mine, took ages, but i had no other option. not even cell coverage.
hi-lifts are cheap as chips too, and damned handy.

Thanks Chris!
It was only when i walked into the bog i realised what exactly it was made of. Step in..sink down up to my knees. Great! Makes me wonder how it went through without wheelspin the other way.

Will be changing all the oils ASAP.

Cheers!
