Default VHT wheel paints

Does anyone know if the 'Ford Argent Silver' paint is lighter than the 'Chevy Rally Silver' ? Or maybe even the 'Aluminium'? On the website its really hard to tell if it is but I got a can of the chevy silver as they didnt have the others in stock and its just a tiny bit too dark so Im hoping the Ford silver is a bit lighter does anyone know?? Don't really want to order it in if its not
cheers

Yea from what I have read on other forums, the rally silver and ford silver are the same. Linz has informed me that the aluminium is a bit lighter so I'll give that a go

Is Ford Argent Silver now generally available?I tried to buy some a few years ago and according to VHT the only place it could be bought from was GT Performance in Melbourne.

Well I assumed it would be but after looking around the net to find out the colour difference it seems it would be really hard to get anyway, probably why I never see it on the shelf

I would say the Aluminium is brighter. Ive had a customer do his HSV rims in Aluminium after they were painted black and it came out well.

Was i supposed to chase this up for you or am I feeling guilty for no reason?

Excellent. Guilt subsiding.

In all seriousness let me know if you need me to take pics of them all etc, I think I have all of them at work.

Shoul be alright thanks mate, just about out of the rally and need a couple more coats so I'll just get a can of the aluminium and see how that goes. They're only for the drags but I still want to get them as close as possible anyway. I thought about painting both rims but decided to keep one original as its in perfect condition just incase I decide to sell them later on
