Default AU Intermittent Wiper Stalk Installation

Hey guys quick question. The missus has an AU forte and I was wanting to if upgrade the standard 3 speed indicator/wiper stalks to the higher-end Fairmont ones with the intermittent wiper blade adjustment. Do i just replace the stalks? Or is there a seperate module or something to install?
Also, n00b question, is there an easy fix to squeaking wiper blades? Replaced them with brand new ones, still squeaking.
Cheers
Matt

Did you just replace the rubber or the whole blade section that goes on the end of the wiper arm ?.

Upgraded BEM is needed ... XLS utes had variable intermittent ... so it's a mid-range BEM you are probably after to get this working.

Thanks for that guys. I replaced the whole blade.
Looks like this could be a bit more complicated then I thought.

Did you replace them with rubber ones or silicone ones. The silicone are a ***** and squeal like a schoolgirl? Also give your windscreen a once over with a good cleaner, windex perhaps although I like metho and water @ 50/50 mix myself, as depending on where you are your screen can develop a film of contaminants that can make the rubber squeak.
