Landed in Hawaii this morning, which Mustang would like sir? Silver or blue. Spent the day fanging it around the big island. For a six pot I'm impressed with the performance. Handling is a lot better than I expected too. Although the rear does seem to want to overtake the front sometimes. Its the previous model, early 2014 I think. Very good car and has cemented my decision to buy the new model when it comes out in Aus. Some epic drives here. Anyone on here done the 250 on the big island. Just about the best drive of my life.

yep - but on a Harley (think they are $150 a day last time i was there)
just remember to wear a hat and sunscreen - you dont notice it while your cruising in the breeze but the next day ... wow. |

That first pic almost looks like the "Kona-fornia" area of the big island.
We were there + on Oahu earlier in the year for our honeymoon & scored a GLK350 as a free upgrade from a RAV4 We found Highway 19 an awesome drive up to Waimea/Waipio Valley but didn't head up Highway 250. Driving a 'stang there would be awesome! How cruisey is traffic over there. People can't merge for **** but they're all super polite on the road. And every 2nd pickup truck has a couch + locals tagging along for a ride (with guitar/surfboard/bong/backpack/bike/dog) |

Spent 4 days in Honolulu after 3 weeks over on the mainland on our big trip in July this year. Hired this for a day for a quick fang around with my boys and then all of us.
2 teenagers and a 10yo was squishy in the back for sure, but didn't go too far.....lol

Just went out to check out the Kilauea caldera by night. Lights inside the car were pretty nice too. Even the cup holders light up.

Mustang got some battle scars today. Going round a blind corner and a truck came round half in my lane forcing me to move over and scrape a bush. Three light scratches the length of the car. It'll buff out. Took the mustang up to Maunu Kea this morning on the saddle road from Hilo to Kona. Got a bit breatheless up there and the brakes got a workout on the way down.

Cool, no snow for me. Had enough of that in Seattle anyhow. Dropped the car back today. Showed the guy the scratch and he just shrugged and said its nothing. Back in Honolulu now. Miss the mustang already. Took it for a last blast around Waimea yesterday. Then back down to Kona this morning.
