Hey there people,
I have convereted to a BBM manifold as most of you might know, well all is going fine and working great, I am loving it, but I still have at least one thing left to get sorted and that is the cruise control cable so ........ Can anyone tell me does the EF/EL (AU for that matter I guess) cruise control cable hook up to the EA cruise setup, anyone got a pic of the EF/EL cruise control cable mainly the end that hooks to the cruise control module (wreckers had none to look at), or does anyone have one to sell me.

i have the same thing in my EB, BBM fitted, original cruise cable no longer fits....
i bought an EF/L cable from the wreckers, and theres no way it will fit. so i'm going to cut the cables, and join the two together so the TB end of the EF/L cable is on the end of the original EB cable. I'm going to have a look at the local 'Bunnings' for something to splice/join the cables. otherwise, there are shops that do this sort of thing. i hope thats of some help |

couldn't you just crimp the 2 together like you do wiring etc?
or even solder the cables together :P

Find a shop that does this work, you will be happier with the result in the long run.

I have looked at a pic of the EF cruise module (could not find any at the wreckers) thanks to EFFalcon and they are motor/servo driven not vaccuum actuated like the early e-series, hence all the problem, gotta love doing a well researched mod ... lol
