Default new paint job,how much?

i have a nice white ed 5 ltr...but alllways wanted black...how much roughly (ballpark figure)for a paintjob(i live in perth,dunno if that matters)...if its gonna be much over 2 grand...then i cannot justify it...seeing id rather chuck that 2 grand down for my stroker kit.....but there is just something sooo retro hurtling down the road at 180 in a hot black v8 listening to foreigners"hotblooded"lol...(mind you that was the plan for the ol zh marquis...anyhoo...any advice(figures 0would be appreciated..thanx AGAIn,tommy.

just paint it your self, go down to bunnings and get a box of black paint and spray away, dont worry about masking either. just scrap off the over spray on the windows.....

hmm..yeah thatd look good ...NOT!....damn!REALLY want black...couldnt find a 5ltr ed in black at the time after 5 MONTHS looking(unreal...now they pop up everywhere).

keep it white!!! black is harder to clean and shows all the dents. You'll be up for 2k just to get the panels straight!!!! Good luck getting a decent full in/out respray for less than 4k.

you guys have a point there....the money i save will get me my bottom end bits for me stroker...cheers...i guess i coulda bought worse...remember the "baby puke" colour on the old 70s fairlanes?rofl
