I need to adjust the front wheel bearings on my ea Fairmont for its W.O.F.
How do I do this? Don't they just wear out? |

OK what you can do, is remove the wheels, remove the metal dust cap from the centre of the hub, remove the split pin that you can see, turn the nut around with a big spanner or shifter until it is tight, now back it off a 1/4 turn or so and put the split pin back in, they are now adjusted as it were.
I would buy new ones and fit them or have them fitted, but the above can work sometimes, it only buys time it does not solve the problem.
